Say hello to Slinky, Carson City Catmandu’s Cat of the Week!

Slinky is a sweet and special girl waiting for her new best friend to come and take her home.  A gorgeous black and white tuxedo just under 2 years old, she was tearfully surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her.

With bright yellow eyes and adorable black and white toes, Slinky gets along with everyone.  She is a sweet, loving, and nurturing kitty who just wants to be safe, love and be loved. She has an affectionate nature and easygoing temperament.

Slinky is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines.

Slinky was raised with cat-friendly dogs and friendly cats.

She’s confident, sweet, and mostly unafraid—ready to offer love to anyone who gives it back. She enjoys being picked up and held, happily snuggles in laps, and is comfortable with almost everyone. However, Slinky is scared of loud noises and would not do well in a chaotic household or where she is picked on by other animals.

A calm, patient home will bring out the very best in her—and we know she’ll give back tenfold.

Her gentle spirit and friendly personality make her a wonderful companion, and she’s ready to find a home where she can be loved just as much as she loves back.

If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with a whole lot of character, Slinky is ready to settle into your heart. Come meet Slinky this weekend at Catmandu. We are open Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street. We ask potential adopters to arrive no later than 3 p.m. so they have plenty of time to spend with the cats before adoptions close.
