Ziggy Parsons is back at Catmandu after a cozy foster vacation—and he’s still got it. This 11-year-old potato-shaped purebred Scottish Fold is equal parts dashing and darling, with his signature folded ears and polydactyl (born with extra toes).
Ziggy may be pedigree, but he’s as down-to-earth as they come. He’s calm, affectionate, and a total lap connoisseur.
His favorite hobbies are being adored, napping in warm spots, melting hearts with his charm, and even going on walks. This handsome lad is harness trained!
Because his limbs are about 3.5 inches shorter than average, Ziggy has developed arthritis that requires a little extra TLC. He needs the occasional vet visit for a comfort-boosting injection, and medicated cream rubbed into his ear once daily.
Don’t worry—he takes it all like a champ. Other than that, he is a healthy 11-year-old gentleman with a leisurely pace and plenty of charm. Ziggy is waiting and hoping for another loving home.
While he is up for adoption, he also qualifies for our Senior 2 Senior program. This program places senior citizens (55+) with senior cats in a long-term foster situation.
The cat(s) remains with their senior for the rest of their life; however, if something should happen to the person, the cat(s) returns to Catmandu. We also help with medical care through nutrition, homeopathy and vet care through All Creatures Mobile Vet Hospital. It’s a win for both the senior and the cat(s).
Ziggy is available for adoption or long-term foster, and he’s hoping to find a quiet, loving home where he can continue his reign as king of coziness.
If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with a whole lot of character, Ziggy Parsons is ready to settle into your heart. Come meet Ziggy this weekend at Catmandu. We are open Friday – Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm at 1829 Brown Street.
