Kim Chi Nguyen, MD, Joins Carson Valley Medical Center's Ironwood Primary Care

Nguyen joined the staff of primary care providers at Carson Valley Medical Center in November following a 20-year stay on Maui.

She will practice out of Ironwood Primary Care in Minden.
 
It's the latest step in a path that has taken her all around the globe.

There will be a public military funeral for 13 unclaimed Nevada veterans on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, 2 p.m. at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

Carson City Senior Center celebrates Veterans Day

The Carson City Senior Center presented a salute to Carson City veterans Thursday. The program featured Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell and members of the Carson High School JROTC representing each branch of the United States Military.

Updated Nevada Day Parade line up list and map

Here is an updated parade list for all the entries in the Nevada Day Parade on Saturday. Unclaimed remains of 27 veterans to receive a military funeral in Fernley

On Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 the remains of 27 veterans will finally receive the military burial and honor they were promised through their service in the U.S. Armed Forces. The service will be held beginning at 2 p.m. at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Cemetery, located at 14 Veterans Way, in Fernley, Nev. The public is invited to attend.
