Submitted by editor on Thu, 09/01/2016 - 10:10amHello fellow anglers, many have been asking, where is the Naw report? I have been fishing in Oregon for the last couple weeks and did quit well. We caught green and blue ling cod and a few black sea bass out of Brooking's.
First woman to swim the length of Lake Tahoe recalls 1962 adventure
Submitted by editor on Sun, 08/24/2014 - 12:03pmSome people, when they first see Lake Tahoe, think how it'd be nice to boat on top of the glass like water. Others imagine fishing on the lake stocked with big fish, while yet others think about how nice it would be to sit at the quiet and scenic shore and enjoy the sun and the view.
To nine year old Erline Christopherson, all she thought when first saw the crystal blue waters was how she'd like to swim across it. The dream was born that day in 1955.

Summer Legs
Submitted by Jerry Vance on Sun, 03/25/2012 - 4:21pmI love spring time. You whip off the slacks, have a good look at your legs and decide that swimming is out for another year. Now, why do your legs look like that? I'll tell you why, because you sit all day, deny yourself water, eat lots of salty fatty foods, and you DON’T EXERCISE! That's putting the blame where it belongs. No one is happy with the condition of their legs. They're either to fat, too muscular, blue, (veins), or they’re w-a-y too short. And, most legs have funny little areas of puckered skin. It's called Fat. Have a look at your kid's legs.

Being physically fit gives you the ability to enjoy life. It's called "quality of life".
With so many new types of exercise available maybe it’s time to define quality of life and how you achieve it. When you work on physical fitness, you enhance the physiological capacity of your body. You increase the ability to stay with a task longer and increase the range and weight of the task. Your heart will beat slower with more blood behind each beat, and generate more oxygen to your muscles. Who cares? You should!
