A Dayton man was arrested for suspicion of reckless driving causing injury and attempted escape following a 3-vehicle crash that happened Wednesday morning, sending one person to the hospital via Care Flight.

UPDATE 340PM: Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Duncan Dauber confirmed Olivia Huston was found safe at a McDonald's in Fernley Thursday afternoon.

Carson City sheriff's deputies responded to an armed robbery Saturday night at Harbor Freight Tools in the 2700 block of North Carson Street.

There are two suspects, both wearing black masks. One was described as 5 foot 5-inches with blue eyes and a tattoo across the neck.

These unique stratus clouds were in the late afternoon sky on the Eastern side of Carson City as the sun set Nov. 8, 2014. The large building in the photograph is our famous Carson City Waste Water Reclamation Plant. This large open area is accessible and is a great place to look at birds and wildlife. Parking for this wildlife area is near Butti and Fifth Street.

A Silver Springs man died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday four miles south of Highway 50 and 95A, the Nevada Highway Patrol reports.

Jay R. Williams, 68, died at the scene of the accident, which involved a Dodge Stratus, driven by Williams, and a Dodge pickup, driven by a 53-year-old Silver Springs man, said NHP Trooper David Gibson.
