Carson City sheriff's deputies investigate armed robbery at Harbor Freight Tools

There are two suspects, both wearing black masks. One was described as 5 foot 5-inches with blue eyes and a tattoo across the neck.

The large building in the photograph is our famous Carson City Waste Water Reclamation Plant. This large open area is accessible and is a great place to look at birds and wildlife. Parking for this wildlife area is near Butti and Fifth Street.

Silver Springs man dies Sunday in two-vehicle crash
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Sun, 08/25/2013 - 5:43pmA Silver Springs man died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday four miles south of Highway 50 and 95A, the Nevada Highway Patrol reports.
Jay R. Williams, 68, died at the scene of the accident, which involved a Dodge Stratus, driven by Williams, and a Dodge pickup, driven by a 53-year-old Silver Springs man, said NHP Trooper David Gibson.
