Lake Tahoe, Stateline, NV – The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency will conduct travel surveys with visitors and residents at several recreational and commercial locations throughout the Lake Tahoe Basin starting today, Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 34-year-old woman reported missing at south shore Lake Tahoe and may be in danger. Authorities are not saying why she may be in danger, however, the region is experiencing frigid weather conditions.

A Stateline man was arrested Monday on felony suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly causing severe injuries to a woman during a domestic dispute, a Douglas County sheriff's sergeant said.

Douglas authorities seek public's help identifying Lake Tahoe bike thief

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a theft of a bicycle from Harveys Casino at Stateline in Lake Tahoe.

On Aug. 30 at around 7:50 pm, Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a stolen black 2014 GIANT Mountain bicycle with “GIANT” in white lettering. The photo above is a picture of the suspect.
