Of those, 18 people were arrested in the casino core area of Stateline during the evening, said Douglas County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Pat Brooks.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 34-year-old woman reported missing at south shore Lake Tahoe and may be in danger. Authorities are not saying why she may be in danger, however, the region is experiencing frigid weather conditions.

Due to the high volume of celebrants within the Stateline casino core area during this event, U.S. Highway 50 may be closed to vehicle traffic in the evening if necessary for public safety.
Woman injured in pedestrian crash at Stateline

The victim, Madeleine Cass, was found underneath a Toyota pickup driven by Charles Scholfield, when deputies arrived at the scene, in the area of Ponderosa Drive, said DCSO Sgt. Pat Brooks.

Stateline man jailed on felony assault with deadly weapon charge, woman hospitalized

Christopher Drake Rogers, 43, was arrested after deputies responded to a report of an injured woman on Tramway Drive in the upper Kingsbury area of Douglas County, said DCSO Sgt. Pat Brooks. His bail has been set at $50,000.

Submitted by editor on Tue, 09/15/2015 - 11:09amThe Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a theft of a bicycle from Harveys Casino at Stateline in Lake Tahoe.
On Aug. 30 at around 7:50 pm, Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a stolen black 2014 GIANT Mountain bicycle with “GIANT” in white lettering. The photo above is a picture of the suspect.
A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect. Your identity is not needed and you will remain anonymous.
