The Carson City Elks Lodge #2177 and the Carson City Emblem Club # 507 is sponsoring a Christmas Party for Community Children on Saturday, Dec. 17th from Noon to 2:30 pm at the Carson City Elks Lodge located at 515 N. With winter weather creeping around the corner, and with many California waters scheduled to close for the year on Nov. 15, this is my annual reminder for those Carson City area fishermen who plan to hang it up for the year after a few more fall casts.
