Carson High School (CHS) played host to over a hundred crafters, artisans, candy makers, knitters and even more happy shoppers at this weekend’s 25th Annual Holiday Craft Fair.

The Polar Express rolled into town on Nov. 15 with the help of the historic V&T Railway Commission, and with it, a certain jolly old man and his magical helpers.

The 2019 season for CHS girls golf was a great experience for everyone on the team. This year, the team was comprised of five girls: Karen Beglin, Sophia Taggart, Karrina Ferris, Brooke Gudmundson, myself, and our coaches, Wade Greenlee and Jack Butler.

Carson City deputies make arrest for possession of meth, stolen credit cards, burglary tool

The woman also faces charges of possession of stolen credit cards and having a burglary tool.

Carson City Adele’s announces it has closed its doors, permanently, following March fire

This decision by owners Chef Charlie and Karen Abowd, comes in the wake of a fire that occurred March 28, and the subsequent inability to negotiate a settlement with the insurance company that would cover reconstruction costs.
Pair from Bakersfield, Calif. arrested for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine into Carson City
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 09/27/2019 - 9:38amA pair from Bakersfield, Calif. were arrested in the 3800 block of S. Carson Street early Friday morning for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine, and prohibited people in possession of a gun, among other offenses.
Harvey Mahoney, 31, and Aimee Negre, 36, were arrested around 3:30 a.m. after deputies were walking through the parking lot of a local S. Carson Street casino when they made contact with the pair.
