Nevada governor to discuss Phase 2 re-open in videotaped message, press conference canceled out of caution
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 05/26/2020 - 12:18pmUPDATE: Late Tuesday afternoon it was announced that Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak canceled a planned press conference. He will instead address Nevadans in a videotaped message. In a news release from the Governor's Office it noted that late last week Gov. Sisolak had visited a work place where an employee — who was not in the building at the time — has since reported testing positive for COVID-19. The Governor’s Office learned of the positive test result on Tuesday.

The individual was a male Carson City resident in his 60’s. It is unknown at this time if he had underlying health conditions.
