His work ranges from landscapes to flora and fauna; historic buildings to his favorite – cows. Mark has enjoyed photography since he was a kid. It remains a passion to this day. His photos are of areas from Mad Canyon’s majestic peaks to Gardnerville’s Meadows, historic locales from Genoa to Virginia City, barns to classic cars.

I have challenges. Everyone does. Over the years, I’ve developed a tool kit that helps me get through times that feel overwhelming. It’s well stocked. There are tools that worked last year that don’t this; that helped last month that don’t ease today’s burdens.Photography has always been something that inspires me to focus on the world of beauty rather than the day’s difficulties.

About the Artist My Dad gave me my first camera when I was eight. I would lay at the trunk of a tree and shoot upwards. The spark lit a passion that still burns brightly over 50 years later.

We're looking at highs in the upper 60s. Memorial Day is the day we celebrate those men and women who passed while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
