Pet Food Drive

Throughout October, Carson City's Michael Hohl Motor Company is collecting pet food donations in hopes of filling a pickup truck with food to support Feeding Pets of the Homeless.

Coldwell Banker Select real estate agents serving Northern Nevada delivered 435.8 pounds of pet food to Friends in Service Helping, or FISH, a Carson City-based social services organization and pet food provider site for Feeding Pets of the Homeless.

Carson City Toyota will host a pet food donation drive and adoption event for the Nevada Humane Society this Thursday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region. The Nevada State Railroad Museum is holding train rides dedicated toward women’s suffrage on Saturday. Feeding Pets of the Homeless is hosting its 11th annual nationwide pet food and supply drive over the next three days, and there is plenty of live music for all to enjoy! Michael Hohl Motor Company is proud to launch their 5th Annual "Give A Dog A Bone" pet food drive to fill a pickup for the nonprofit organization Pets of the Homeless. They provide pet food and basic emergency veterinary care to the homeless pets in local communities across the United States including Carson City.

Last year’s drive collected almost 1,200 pounds of pet food and supplies valued at more than $3,000.
