A 43-year-old Dayton man was arrested early Sunday for suspicion of a third DUI, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Muscle Powered, Citizens for a Walkable and Bikable Carson City, will be showcasing videos and presenting awards for the “No Zombie Texting” Video Competition on May 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Brewery Arts Center Black Box Theatre. The public is invited to attend and enjoy the creative endeavors of young video artists from the community.

CARSON CITY — Beginning Monday, April 30 through late fall, day and night single lane closures will take place on State Route 28 at Lake Tahoe from the southern end of Incline Village to three miles south of Sand Harbor State Park for construction of a shared use path and water quality and traffic safety improvements.

UPDATE 3:26PM: The juvenile who was struck in a crosswalk Thursday afternoon was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The boy was conscious and alert suffering some minor injuries, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Bill Richards. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
