The minors were sent into local businesses and they attempted to purchase alcohol with only possession of Carson High School identification cards.

I’ve taken my time this year to deliberate over the matter of recreational marijuana legalization — in spite of my general instinctive opposition to mind-altering substances — consulting with area experts on drugs and drug policy.
Following hours of interviews, reading and research, my conclusion is that there is something more sinister at stake here over Question 2 than simply the legalization of an illicit drug.

Partnership Carson City, farmers market team up to make produce affordable for low income families

“Just like with anything else, we feel everyone deserves access to healthy fruits and vegetables,” Marrone said.

Marijuana clouds issue of workplace drug use

Doing so will become especially crucial if Nevadans, through November’s ballot, vote to legalize the recreational sale and regulation of marijuana and related products.
This was the primary message of a “Marijuana in the Workplace” lecture delivered Friday at the Carson City Chamber of Commerce’s Soup’s On! luncheon, in collaboration with Partnership Carson City and the city’s district attorney’s office.
