Early Monday morning Daniel Nunez of Carson City was arrested on the charges of Burglary, possession of a burglary tool, and violation of a suspended sentence.

The 28-year-old was arrested after allegedly robbing a local laundromat.

Andrew, better known as Andy, was born on his family’s ranch in Yerington, Nevada. He was the fourth of five children of Albert “Burr” and Marion, including Al, Fred, Madeline and Mary Lou.

Andy enjoyed his upbringing in Yerington, making friends, working on ranches, playing football, excelling in scholastics and having more than his share of fun. His accolades from high school included being elected Governor of Boys State and later being inducted into the Yerington High Football Hall of Fame.

Carson City woman arrested for felony burglary after shoplifting a Giants shirt

A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 3800 block of S. Carson Street Wednesday evening on a felony burglary charge.

Angela Bowman was arrested after deputies responded to a call regarding a petit larceny charge at a Carson City retail store.

The loss prevention team of the store had Bowman detained in the security office when deputies arrived.

Bowman has at least two prior convictions for petit larceny, according to the police report.
