Friends of the Carson City Library Book Sale to be held Saturday

Friends of the Carson City Library will be hosting a book sale this Saturday, Dec. 5 at Browsers Corner Book Store located at 711 E Washington St. from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Autumn is coming. It seems our days of 80+ degree weather is over, but so are rainy days we’ve seen this week. The Carson Aquatic Center welcomes everyone to a ‘Dive-in Movie’ on their new LED screen: Finding Nemo is a perfect flick for the whole family. Funnyman Adam Stone headlines this week’s Carson Comedy inside the Carson Nugget for those needing a good laugh. The Carson Area Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America will gather to honor those who have given their all and have yet to come home during a POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial on the Capitol Grounds.

Book Sales at the Browsers Corner begin Saturday

BIG book sales ahead at the Browsers Corner book Store. The first one is Saturday, June 13. It is a parking lot sale, and runs from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Lowest prices of the year:
— Hardcover - 50 cents
— Paperbacks - 25 cents
— Children’s books - 10 cents

There will also be sales on Monday, June 15 and again on Saturday, June 20. Everything in the book store will be half off! An additional 10 percent discount for members of the Friends of the Library on Monday, June 15.

The bookstore is across the street from the Carson City Library at 711 East Washington Street.

Smith Valley Library, 22 Day Lane, Smith NV, announces NEW SCHOOL YEAR HOURS effective Monday, August 11, 2014. We will be open four days a week: Tuesday 3pm– 6pm, Thursday 3pm - 6pm, Friday 9am - 5pm, and Saturday 11am – 5pm.

Parking Lot Book Sale This Saturday

The Browsers Corner Book Store is having a parking lot book sale on Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sale prices will be $1 for hardcover books and 50 cents for paperbacks. We will also have videos for 10 cents each. After 4:00 pm everything will go for $1 a bag.

Just in a very large donation of history and military history books which will be included in the sale.

The book store is located at 711 East Washington Street in Carson City. All proceeds will benefit the Carson City Library.

Carson City Friends of the Library sale Friday, Kiwanis pancake breakfast Saturday

Summer beach reading favorites and a Saturday morning Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast are on tap beginning today at the Friends of the Carson City Library's Bargain Blast Book Bonanza.

All adult hardcover books will be 50 cents each and paperbacks will be 25 cents. The sale will be at the Carson City Library, 900 N. Roop Street, today, Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Harvest Book Sale

The Friends of the Carson City Library will have their Harvest Book Sale at the Library Thursday, Sept. 21 from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 am to 4pm. All books for sale are newly donated. We have a large assortment of fiction and nonfiction, adult and children's books, hardcovers and paperbacks. There will be a preview sale for members of the Friends on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Nonmmembers can join at the door. All proceeds benefit the Carson City Library. Bargain Book Sale

The Friends of the Carson City Library are having their annual Bargain Book Sale Friday and Saturday, August 10th and 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
