Join the fun at Pinkerton Ballet Theatre's 23rd annual production of "The Nutcracker Ballet". Each of our special guest performers brings his own persona to characterize "Mother Gigogne;" an ever-popular comedic character with exaggerated makeup, costume and flamboyant behavior. Mother Gigogne, a role which is traditionally played by a man, is an enormous woman who conceals a whole brood of children beneath her skirts.

The Nutcracker Ballet - ALL JAZZ'D UP!

This version of the classic story is JAZZ'D UP! to make it fun for the whole family. With jazz and tap dance styles added to the traditional ballet, you will be amazed by the talent of our performers, ages 3 to 60+. Special effects and high-tech lighting increase the excitement. All tickets are only $10!!! Show times are 7pm on December 18th and 1pm on December 19th. The final performance of the 22nd annual Nutcracker Ballet, presented by Pinkerton Ballet Theater, will be on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center. Tickets are available at the Brewery Arts Center Artisan Gift Shop, 449 W. King St. or by calling (775) 883-1976 extension 117.
