In an effort to address social and emotional needs of students, CHS is presenting the SOS (Signs of Suicide) Prevention Program.
Freshman health classes were the first reached in February. The JROTC students and health science classes are next.
Navy League dinner and meeting Wednesday, Feb. 21

The social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.
Our speaker will be Lt. Col. Adrian Armold, USMC, Executive Officer, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Pickle Meadows, CA.
Lt. Col. Armold is a 20-year veteran of the Marine Corps with assignments to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Bowyer hits bullseye with career spanning six decades

He ended his career at the top of his field, but he got off to an inauspicious start.

The original Carillon — an electronic device that simulates tuned bell chimes — broke down after ringing on the hour since 1999.
