Expect mostly sunshine and cloudy skies today as a weather system is expected to move into the region later tonight bringing rain showers to the lower valleys and some snow to the Sierra for the first day of Spring. Well we're here Carson City. We're heading into March 15, the last Friday of winter 2019. While March 20 may be the first day of Spring, the weekend ahead is about the Irish and their spring.
