Tommy has a long list of celebs he's helped including Gary Busey, Nick Nolte, and Lindsay Lohan. After disseminating his message in comedy clubs, he became the back-to-back winner of the Boston and Seattle comedy competitions, appeared on the Bob and Tom Show, National Lampoon's Man Up Stand Up, and in commercials for Adidas, Monster.com and Lowe's.

The job fair on Wednesday will be held at the Summit Mall at 13945 S. Virginia Street, Suite 636 in Reno and the Thursday job fair will be held at the Carson City Fuji Park Exhibit Hall at 601 Old Clear Creek Road.

I personally like to have at least 8 inches of ice to fish. Well, we are in luck. I spoke with Dave from the Caples Lake Resort last week. Dave reported 8 to 10 inches of ice at the dam area.
Auto body repair scam warning issued in Carson City area

At least two residents have been taken in the scam, according to the sheriff's office, with one being followed to the bank for payment of service.
Chase that began in Douglas County ends with crash on Carson City freeway; suspect taken by Care Flight
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Sun, 07/28/2013 - 9:50pmA vehicle chase that began in Douglas County ended on the Carson City I-580 freeway Sunday night with male suspect being flown by Care Flight after the vehicle he was driving crashed into the median.
According to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol were pursuing the vehicle after Douglas County authorities alerted them to the chase that crossed the county line at around 8:45 p.m.
California women jailed for credit card fraud face additional felony charges

Markeisha Yvette Orviss, 22, and Kamesha Joann Cooper, 24, of Pittsburg, Calif., remain in jail and face the additional charges.

Markeisha Yvette Orviss, 22, and Kamesha Joann Cooper, 24, of Pittsburg, Calif., were arrested by Carson City sheriff's patrol officers in the 3900 block of South Carson Street at 12:15 p.m.

Smokey the Bear Celebrates Arbor Day in Carson City

The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. on April 29, 2011 and will be held at Governor's Field (behind Lowe's). The festivities are approximately an hour long. Smokey will arrive at Governor’s Field in a Nevada Division of Forestry fire tender.
Smokey will also have “goodie” bags for the children attending the celebration. Smokey will help the Council and its guests plant a Northern Red Maple selected by the staff of the Carson City Parks and Recreation Department.
Carson City authorities arrest couple in heroin drug deal
Submitted by editor on Thu, 09/02/2010 - 11:23amA transient couple were arrested on Wednesday and face multiple felony drug charges after allegedly attempting to use a minor in a Aug. 25 heroin deal.
Amanda and Justin Steepe, both 22, face felony charges including conspiracy, sales of a controlled substance, and using a minor as a drug agent. Amanda Steepe also has an outstanding felony warrant for her arrest. Her bail was set at $40,000. Justin Steepe is being held on $20,000 bail.
Carson City authorities arrest men after heroin, meth found
Submitted by editor on Sun, 08/22/2010 - 11:55amTwo men were arrested by Carson City authorities on Saturday after officers discovered heroin and methamphetamine in a car they pulled over because of erratic driving.
Andrew Woodburn, 31, of Carson City, faces charges of felony drug possession for sale; possession of hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000 cash bondable.
Joseph Alex Kendall, 23, of Dayton, faces a felony charge of possession controlled substances — methamphetamine and heroin. Bail was set at $2,500 cash, plus Kendall has an outstanding warrant out of Lyon County.
