Freeway

Carson City Freeway construction continues

by Scott Schrantz Source: http://aroundcarson.com/2010/07/02/cc_freeway_construction Construction on Phase 3 of the Carson City Freeway is well underway. This is kind of Phase 3a, since all they're going to do right now is build the bridges at Koontz and Clearview, and grade parts of the roadbed along Edmonds. But they've been working on all that for a month, and it's coming along nicely.

The first thing to go will be Clearview Drive, which will be closed for an extended time while a new bridge is built.

Comment on Editorial: Nugget Project: No new answers. Only more questions. by Pumpman

“Knowlege Center”? Another new term for an old concept (does anyone go to the library for “knowlege” when they can Google the subject on their computer).

I think this is great! Hopefully the taggers and vandals will leave it alone. Doubt it, though.

That is a great point about ongoing maintenance. I believe that this is one of the rare grants that indeed maintenance was included.
