It's Carson River Canyon, not Brunswick Canyon
Submitted by Kirk Caraway on Fri, 09/23/2011 - 10:13amIn honor of retired state archivist Guy Rocha's 60th birthday today, I want to aid him in one of his favorite pursuits, busting myths about Nevada.
In this case, locals commonly make the mistake of saying Brunswick Canyon when they are actually talking about Carson River Canyon. I make this mistake, and I see many instances of this also coming out in arrest reports and press releases from the Carson City Sheriff's Office.

It's Time to Get off The Bitch Train, Folks!
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 06/04/2010 - 9:57pmYes folks, it’s time to get off the bitch train! What do I mean? We have gone though one of the worse economic periods since the Second World War. However, most of the shakers and movers of the business world would agree that it looks like that we might be seeing the first signs of an end this period. So in a funny twist, this might be the best time for you to start your business.
I got the term "It's Time to get off The Bitch Train" From Garry Vaynerchuk http://garyvaynerchuk.com or his slightly easier to pronounce his Internet name
"Garry Vee."
