With these designations, southern Nevadans are facing a mild and dry winter and northern Nevadans are looking at an uncertain forecast. All could face water restrictions, crop or pasture loss and, with exceptional drought, water shortage emergencies.

Nevada receives $1 million in grants to improve water quality, reduce pollution

The individual was a male Douglas County resident in his 80’s. CCHHS is also reporting 402 new cases and 6 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County region.

Goats to graze along Carson City's Clear Creek watershed in fire prevention partnership

Money from the sale of the land is then largely used to acquire environmentally sensitive land and, in a broad sense, to fund conservation and restoration projects across the state.
