We met at the south end of North Lompa Lane and everyone spread out along the Multi-Use Path to gather nearly 600 pounds of trash from that point south to 5th street.

Transitional housing for recovering addicts coming to Carson City

Carson City’s courts, through options such as alternative sentencing, drug court, and the most recent addition of misdemeanor treatment court, has taken steps to combat addiction.
However, there is a hole in their treatment process, and a large one at that: safe, sober housing.

This is Surf Thru Express Car Wash’s 18th location and their third location in northern Nevada. Surf Thru Express Car Wash opened in Carson City in 2016 and in Reno the following year. Carson City emergency crews respond to oil spill at Saliman and Robinson
Submitted by Brett Fisher on Fri, 01/04/2019 - 4:23pmCarson City Firefighters and Sheriff's deputies are on scene of a reported motor oil spill in the roadway at the intersection of North Saliman Road and East Robinson Street near Carson High School.
Crews on scene report three five-gallon jugs of oil were in the roadway.
The city is also responding with copious amounts of sand and a street sweeper to clean up the spill.
Motorists should avoid the area until the spill is cleaned up.
