Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter will host a Monday Night Football game watch at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4 at Jimmy G's, 301 N. Carson St. The Raiders will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Los Angeles. Raiders fans are welcome to join the Chapter or, hang out with members and cheer on our "men in black."

Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter is hosting a game watch Monday, Sept 21 at 5:15 p.m. as the Las Vegas Raiders take on the New Orleans Saints. This is the first home game for the Las Vegas Raiders at their new Allegiant Stadium.

Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter will host an Oakland Raiders game watch Sunday, Dec. 8 at 1:25 p.m. at Jimmy G's, 301 North Carson Street, in Carson City.

The Oakland Raiders take on the Tennessee Titans for a still-small chance of taking a wildcard spot for the AFC playoffs.

Membership to the Chapter is $20 per person. Jimmy G's will offer drink specials to Chapter members; a potluck with delicious food will be available for a small donation.

The first week of November marches along with sunshine to continue into the foreseeable future. Heading into the weekend, there’s a mountain of jam-packed activities over the next three days. Events include the 100th annual Candy Dance in Genoa, the Carson City Community Center Garage Sale, free walks at Nevada State Parks, Virginia City’s Street Vibrations Fall Rally, the 31st annual All-Breed Dog Shows, The Beatles Flashback tribute band concert and much more!

Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter will host an Oakland Raiders vs Indianapolis Colts Game Watch at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 at Jimmy G's, 301 N. Carson St., in Carson City.

New fans are welcome to join Chapter members and root on the Oakland Raiders. Jimmy G's will offer drink specials, while members will grill hot dogs for the crowd. Donations to cover the cost of food are accepted. A 50/50 cash drawing will be held as well.

Bark Whine and Dine to benefit the Carson Animal Services Initiative will be Sunday, July 27, at Fuji Park in Carson City.

The event will start at 1 p.m. and includes a barbecue lunch with food provided by Foodies Bystro and entertainment by Jake Houston. Proceeds from the event will help to build the new animal shelter in Carson City.

Food trucks are all the rage these days and so are festivals dedicated to gourmet specialities prepared on board the mobile kitchen ships.

The Carson Valley Inn will host the Valley Food Fest this Saturday, May 31, from noon to 8 p.m. at the TJ's Corral Outdoor Events Center in Minden. A variety of food trucks serving up everything from gourmet to all-American standards plus desserts and other treats.
