A 25-year-old woman was arrested early Thursday morning in the area of Highway 50 and Fairview Drive for suspicion of DUI first and failure to maintain lane, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

Three people were arrested in the area of Gordon and Brown streets for felony trafficking of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to stop at a stop sign, violation of parole and probation, and violation of Department of Alternative Sentencing.

UPDATE: Portions of I-580 in Carson City were closed briefly while investigators looked for evidence. The freeway was re-opened shortly before midnight.

Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a vehicle that was reportedly shot at late Tuesday night on the I-580 freeway near College Parkway, injuring a passenger inside.
