Brad sat down to look back on his time spent in office, and answer five questions relating to his eight years as a supervisor, and what his future plans are.
FEMA emergency food and shelter program funds awarded to Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Washoe counties

The eligible spending period for Phase 38 is January 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021. The following is a list of the awards for northern Nevada jurisdictions (counties) including Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Washoe.

Carson City area weather: Sierra snow into Saturday, followed by colder storm Monday

A second colder system will be on its heels for early Monday and will provide chances for another round of snow.

Carson City, Quad County COVID-19 Thursday briefing: 3 deaths, 97 new cases, 49 recoveries

CCHHS is also reporting 97 new cases and 49 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 8,664, with 4,019 recoveries and 106 deaths; 4,539 cases remain active.

But as people work to protect their health by staying indoors and ordering online, small businesses tend to suffer. However, in Carson City, the community response has been strong this holiday season, and shoppers have been taking advantage of both in-person shopping as well as online shopping through local vendors.

Frank Figearo was last seen in mid-October 2020, leaving his motel room in Carson City, Nevada. Mr. Figearo allegedly told a neighbor he was traveling out of state for business.

Man accused of shooting Douglas County sergeant charged with attempted murder

According to KRNV News 4, Nicholas Berreman, 22, and accomplice Kaela Mae Horse-Berreman appeared, virtually, in front of an East Fork Justice Court judge on Wednesday afternoon.

Every year, the company hosts a Photos with Santa event with proceeds going to a local non-profit. The DeBug team huddled with Santa to discuss how to reach the children safely during the coronavirus pandemic. They decided to ask children, with their parents’ consent and supervision, to email a letter to Santa@debugcomputer.net.

According to a Wells Fargo study conducted by The Harris Poll from Nov. 17-19 , a quarter (25%) of all seniors age 60 and above report feeling isolated and lonely, and over a third (43%) can go days without talking to others and spend most of their time alone.

The Great Conjunction over Carson City skies

Photos were taken off of Pine Lane in north Carson City with a Nikon Coolpix P-1000, which has a substantial zoom. As an added bonus I just had to zoom into the moon and capture it as well.
