Polls in Nevada open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, enjoy another day of sunny skies with a hike, brisk walk or bike ride around town. There's both a morning and evening hike offered through Muscle Powered or you can simply walk through downtown Carson City and alongside the capitol building. Also featured today are activities that promote diabetes awareness through Carson Tahoe Health, numerous art showings, local political party election night events and a classic film being shown at the Brewery Arts Center.

The Carson City Republican Central Committee invites all Carson City registered republican voters to attend your county precinct meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 24 at the Plaza Event Center, 211 E. Ninth Street in Carson City from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Doors open at 8 a.m.

Be sure to take your seat at the Carson City Republican Party Precinct Meeting.

This meeting will finalize precinct organization, elect 270 delegates to the County Convention, and allow you to offer ideas for the party platform.

Our monthly meeting will be this Thursday at the Argent Academy 788 Fairview Dr., Carson City. We start at 6:30PM with social time with the official meeting starting at 7:00PM. This month our guest speakers will be Jason Woodbury who is running for District Attorney.
