There will be a "Celebration of the Life and Times of Donna Curtis" on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the dog park at Fuji Park in Carson City. Curtis died Nov. 1, 2018.

In 2013, Donna Curtis spearheaded the purchase of a memorial bench on behalf of Carson City Democratic Women in the new off-leash dog park at the west end of Fuji Park.

Then please plan to attend the monthly meeting of the Carson City Democratic Women's Club from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on July 14.

Registered Democratic Women in Carson City might be interested in attending a meeting of the Carson City Democratic Women's Club starting at 9 a.m. this coming Saturday. The main discussion will be about membership recruitment, post primary campaign strategies, and the next fundraiser.

The Carson City Democratic Women's Club will be presenting its annual Fashion Show on May 19, 2018 starting at 4 p.m. at the Governor's Mansion in the Nevada Stateroom 606 Mountain Street. Attendees are invited to dress up for a cocktail or two and join "Women Making The Difference" for a Spring Fling.

The models are all candidates for the 2018 mid-term election including Chris Giunchigliani who is running for Governor.

These fine ladies will be sporting fashions from Dillard's. There will also be savory appetizers, and raffle/silent auction items.

The Carson City Democratic Women's Club is holding their second memorial for those who actively supported the Club and have recently passed. The Memorial is Saturday, Nov. 8, 11 a.m.

The Carson City Democratic Women's Club Meeting will be held at headquarters, 502 E John Sttreet, Saturday Auguat 9, 2014. Doors open at 9:30 AM and a light bteakfast will be available. The program begins at 10 AM. Featured speakers are Supreme Court Justice Hardesty who will explain Measure 1 on the November Ballot which is to add an Appellate Court system to Nevada.

The Carson City Democratic Women's Club Monthly Meeting will be held Saturday June 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at Democratic Headquarters 502 E. John St Suite G. A light breakfast is available starting at 9:30 a.m. for a small donation.

We will have a debate on the Tax Education Initiative. Bo Statham and Doug Smithson will be debating each other on the issue.

The Carson City Democratic Women's Club sponsored a History Tea at the Governor's Mansion on Saturday. Participants dressed in various period clothes and gave presentations on different periods of Nevada history.

Carson City Democratic Women's Club will hold a bench dedication and a memorial service on September 14th at 11 a.m. at Fuji Park's dog park in memory of our fellow members who have passed. We are dedicating the bench to Merle Riggs, Karen Priest, Liz Riseden and Shirley Swafford. There will also be a space on the bench for future passing memebers.

Democratic candidate for US Senate, Congressman Shelley Berkeley will be speaking to the Carson City Democratic Women's Club Biennial Meet the Candidates BBQ on Saturday August 25th. The BBQ is being held at the backyard of 1001 Arrowhead Dr. from 1 to 4 PM. Cost is $20.00, children under 12 are free. There will be lots of food, raffle prizes and many other candidates for local offices that will also provide a brief statement of their qualifications and interests.
