Then a golf cart came along and disturbed the bird's meal. But that's when I got these shots.
Over the span of 24 hours, I have found both Golden and Bald Eagles here around the Nevada state capital, truly capturing the namesake of the "Eagle Valley."

Woman arrested Wednesday after stabbing family member last Saturday
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Thu, 12/20/2018 - 12:22pmA Carson City woman was arrested in the 3700 block of Tuolumne Street on the charges of felony battery with a deadly weapon, felony assault with a deadly weapon, and felony burglary.
On Saturday morning, unites were dispatched to the area in regards to a stabbing that had just occurred. While on route, dispatch advised that a woman reported her brother-in-law’s wife, Stephanie Ross, attacked her with a knife. The woman said she had been stabbed in the hand and that she barricaded herself in the bedroom.

Local filmmakers were challenged earlier this month to make short horror films in exactly one week.
Basque on Curry Street: The Martin Hotel restaurant open for business in Carson City
