Carson City Supervisors approve MPLUD amendment for Vintage at Kings Canyon

The Carson City Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 Thursday night to approve amending the city's Master Plan Land Use Designation (MPLUD) affecting the Vintage at King's Canyon Tentative Planned Unit Development (TPUD), but with conditions.

The Carson City Council of the United States Navy League will hold its bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

The dinner and meeting will be held in the Banquet Room at Casino Fandango, 3800 S. Carson St., Carson City. The social hour will be at 5:30 PM and the dinner hour will begin at 6:15 p.m. Attendees can access the Casino buffett from the Banquet Room.

The speaker for the dinner will be Glenna Smith, local representative for U.S. Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nevada. She will be discussing Veterans Affairs.

The Carson City Council of the United States Navy League will hold its first meeting of the New Year on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Banquet Room at Casino Fandango, 3800 S. Carson St., Carson City.

This is a change of location!

The social and dinner hour will be from 5:30 PM to 7:00PM. Attendees will be accessing the Casino Buffett from the Banquet Room. The meeting will start promptly at 7:00PM. Our speakers will be Glenna Smith of Senator Heller’s office and Ken Gray from Congressman Amodei’s Office. We will also be installing the new 2014 Officers and Board Members.

Board of Supervisors to vote on proceeding with Nugget Project

The Carson City Board of Supervisors will vote Thursday evening on whether to move forward with the revamped City Center/Nugget Project.

An evening session of their regular bi-monthly meeting is planned to discuss the $50 million project, of which $23.7 million would come from the city.
