The teachers of CHS are asking if this is still true? Of course it is. Men, women, and children of Carson City are encouraged to purchase a T-shirt to support both breast cancer awareness and CHS teacher Kelly Gustafson, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

American Red Cross Babysitting Certification

This training will help participants develop leadership skills, develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, understand children from ages 0 to 10, help children and infants with daily needs, help children with their behavior, and become fully certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid.

Spring break babysitting class offered at Carson City Cooperative Extension

These dates correspond with Carson City school district’s spring break and will give local participants the opportunity to be prepared sitters for the coming summer months.

The class is offered each year during the Carson City schools’ spring break. Class will be held in the Carson City Cooperative Extension office conference room, suite 15, at 2621 Northgate Lane. Hours for the class will be from 9-Noon March 20th and 21st.
The class this year has been condensed to only two days; 3 hours each day. Students attending the class should be at least 12 years-of-age.
Cooperative Extension offers youth spring break babysitting class

The class will be held at the Cooperative Extension Office, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 12. To register, call (775) 887-2252.
