He’s this month’s Sierra Nevada Forum speaker at the Brewery Arts Center. Buffalo Wild Wings is hosting a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club today; a delicious fundraiser, at that. Let the jazz take you away at Living the Good Life or at Sassafras Eclectic Food Joint.

Catch an encore presentation of the Metropolitan Opera, Madama Butterfly, at Galaxy Theater. Or help Comma Coffee welcome the April artist on display in the Backseat Gallery. Don’t delay grabbing tickets for the Carson High Father-Daughter dance: it’s this Friday. All day long, a fundraiser for Maya Morrison is happening at Firkin and Fox, but head over between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to take advantage of their very first Whiskey Wednesday.

City Manager, Nick Marano, is the featured speaker at the monthly ‘Soup’s On’ Luncheon sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Crossroads Lounge on Winne Lane is under new ownership and has just brought karaoke favorites ‘J and M Productions’ onboard Wednesday nights. Have you been naughty or nice this year? You’ll have no problem finding Jolly Old St. Nick this weekend. At Debug Computers where, in exchange for a donation to Holiday with a Hero, you can get a photo with the man in red. The Santa Train at the Nevada State Railroad Museum is a good place to grab a candy cane, some hot cocoa, and tell him what you’d like to find under the tree.
