Along the music front, CHS Band will host its winter concert at the Carson City Community Center and our own local country music star and Nashville recording artist Art Mulcahy will be at Jimmy G's. Holiday pottery art demonstration, show Saturday at Carson City Chamber
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 12/10/2019 - 10:52amOn Saturday, Dec. 14, Linda Ritter, artist and owner of Pinyon Pottery, will demonstrate the art of pottery making between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. bringing in her pottery wheel to the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, 1900 S. Carson Street. Many of her art pieces will be on display and for sale, just in time for the holidays.
Carson City's 36th Holiday Treat Concert happens this Sunday at Community Center

The Carson City Symphony and Carson Chamber Singers, joined by the Victorian Dancers, present the 36th annual Holiday Treat concert this Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Bob Boldrick Theater in the Carson City Community Center.

September 11, 1937 – December 3, 2019
Jean Hamilton passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday Dec. 3rd.
Jean married Bud Hamilton on December 22, 1956 in Lindsey, California. They moved to Carson City, Nevada in 1972. Jean always wanted to be a nurse and went to nursing school as soon as all her kids were in school. She enjoyed a 37 year career as a Registered Nurse, with the majority of it spent at Carson Tahoe Hospital. Everyone who worked with her, or were under her care, said she was truly the best nurse.

We'll see mostly cloudy skies before another chance of rain or snow arrives midweek and then a larger storm in time for the weekend. These individuals have a severe and profound physical and neurological disability, cannot care for themselves, need full-time assistance, and are some of the kindest human beings in the world, many of whom are students in the Carson City School District and at CHS. Each year, students in the CHS Comprehensive Life Skills program make crafts to sell at the annual CHS Craft Fair and give as gifts.
