Final Santa train ride Sunday at Carson City's Nevada State Railroad Museum
The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City offers the last of three weekend holiday train rides with Santa today, Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023.
The Santa Train has 11 rides, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., running every 30 minutes.
The event includes treats, warm refreshments, raffle prizes all centered around a ride on historic equipment from the Virginia & Truckee Railroad.
Tickets are $5 per person and available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets can be purchased at the station. "Boarding Time" is 15 minutes before "Departure Time.” Walk up tickets are available for every ride when available on a first come first serve basis.
The railroad museum is at 2180 South Carson Street, Carson City.
