Adams Hub, Nevada SCORE offer Basics of Starting a Business workshop this Saturday
Adams Hub Center for Innovation and Northern Nevada SCORE are hosting a free workshop at 9:30 am on Saturday, November 13, 2021. In this session attendees will learn what it takes to start a business and by the end of the free 2-hour session they will be in a better position to decide whether to proceed immediately, delay starting their business, or not start the business.
Several points will be examined during this workshop including reasons to start or not start a business, business opportunities, business plans, financing your business, marketing, types of business organizations, and setting up a business.
Presenter and SCORE mentor, Carl Gerhardt is a 30-year veteran of entrepreneurship and is retired Chairman of Alliance Franchise Brands. He also owned his own franchise business building it from a start-up to a very profitable business with over $2 million in sales. During his career he has consulted with hundreds of small business owners helping them to start and profitably grow their business.
Certified SCORE mentor, Gin Nikoloff has the passion to support those with the dream of entrepreneurship. Gin has an extensive background in manufacturing purchasing, supporting startups as a sales engineer, and had 30 years of sales management in Silicon Valley, Calif.
