Multiple holiday performances by Carson City Symphony's Youth Chorus begin Sunday
The Symphony Youth Chorus, a tuition-free educational program of the Carson City Symphony Association, is open to children ages 4 to 12 and performs several times a year. Directed by Michelle Powers, the Chorus will present holiday performances in Carson City this year. Scheduled performances are:
· Sunday, Nov. 12, 12:00 p.m., at Greenhouse Garden Center Christmas Open House, 2450 S. Curry St., Carson City.
· Friday, Dec. 1, about 6:30 p. (after Tree Lighting), at McFadden Plaza, Carson City.
· Tuesday, Dec. 5, 6:00 p.m., at Carson City Library Digitorium, 900 N. Roop St., Carson City.
· Thursday, Dec. 7, 6:30 p.m., with Symphony Youth Strings in "Music with Friends" Concert at Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St., Carson City.
· Sunday., Dec. 10, 3:00 p.m., lobby entertainment and concert finale at Carson City Symphony's 40th annual Holiday Treat Concert at Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St., Carson City.
· Tuesday, Dec. 14, 4:30 p.m., at Carson Tahoe Health family party, 1600 Medical Pkwy., Carson City.
· Friday, Dec. 14 or Sat. Dec. 15, (to be confirmed). at Children's Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Carson St, Carson City.
