Firefighters respond to two separate calls within minutes
UPDATE: Carson City firefighters were called at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday to a fire involving a propane gas barbecue in area of 1900 Beverly Drive, according to Carson City dispatch.
Firefighters on call at Technology Way, where smoke was seen coming from a state health building, were moved to the Beverly Way fire. That fire was extinguished at 12:22 p.m. It was a barbecue on fire with flames coming out of the propane tank. The fire was set about 14 feet away from the home, according to a Carson City sheriff's deputy arriving on scene.
The fire call on Technology Way was canceled at 12:17 p.m. after firefighters determined there wasn't a fire.

Carson City firefighters were called late Wednesday morning to the 4000 block of Technology Way for a possible fire inside the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health.
Dispatch was notified just after 11:50 a.m. that smoke was seen coming out of the building, possibly from an elevator. The building was evacuated.
Arriving firefighters were on the roof of the building, checking the heating system, but so far smoke has not been found, according to fire officials at the scene.
