State of Nevada kicks off hiring fair series Thursday in Carson City
The events will provide an opportunity for departments to conduct same-day interviews and job offers for some positions, according to Jon Terrazas on behalf of the Nevada Division of Human Resource Management.
Divisions will be contacted for confirmation of specific date reservations.
State agencies will be seeking candidates for state job openings and sharing information about working for the State, including the State’s robust benefits package that includes paid vacation and sick leave, 12 paid State holidays, public employees’ retirement, and health insurance.
The Thursday, Sept. 28 event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will see human resource representatives from the state's DMV, Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation and the Supreme Court of Nevada. Go here for a list of job openings.
Anyone interested in learning more about pursuing a career with the State of Nevada is encouraged to attend with resumes in hand, and those with current or past U.S. military service and their spouses will be offered additional information on resources available to them.
