Carson Tahoe Transitional Rehabilitation Center begins outpatient therapy program
Carson Tahoe Transitional Rehabilitation Center, which specializes in short-term, transitional care that bridges the gap between hospital and home, recently expanded its services to offer outpatient therapy.
The new program increases access to high-quality outpatient therapies for residents in the Carson City area and beyond who may benefit from short-term speech, physical and occupational therapy.
Carson Tahoe Care Center, which is located at 1001 Mountain St, in Carson City, has been serving the community since 2019 with post-acute care for patients requiring clinical and rehabilitative assistance after a hospitalization or surgery. Its new outpatient therapy program is designed to help patients, who may not require a long-term stay, manage pain and chronic conditions or restore mobility, strength and cognitive health.
“Our goal is to help patients maintain healthy, independent lifestyles by providing personalized care plans that focus on rehabilitation and recovery,” said Mike Ball, administrator at Carson Tahoe Transitional Rehabilitation Center “We’re pleased to be expanding those services to reach even more patients and families with outpatient services that aim to address ongoing issues and prevent future complications to ultimately improve their quality of life.”
As part of the new outpatient therapy services program, the care center’s experienced, highly trained therapists will work one-on-one with patients and families to develop personalized care plans that support the patient’s goals — whether they’re to recover from an injury, manage a chronic health condition, improve mobility or other needs.
Outpatient therapy services will be offered from the center’s two-story, 98,000 square foot facility featuring a high-tech rehabilitation gym and other amenities designed to provide patients with the highest quality of care.
