Carson City’s ‘Rockers and Boomers’ to raise funds for Nevada Humane Society throughout July
Carson City’s own Rockers and Boomers (formerly School of Rock: Senior Years) senior choir will be performing throughout the capital city to raise funds for pets in need throughout July.
The first performance will take place at Sierra Place Senior Living on Tuesday, July 5 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Instead of monetary donations, for which Rockers and Boomers raise on behalf of the Nevada Humane Society, Senior Living residents will be “paying” by donating kennel blankets for animals in need.
Following this performance, Rockers and Boomers will be performing at the Carson City Senior Center on Friday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and again at the Comma Coffee Courtyard on Wednesday, July 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All funds raised will be donated to the Nevada Humane Society.
