Carson City Follies celebrates 25th year with whimsical 'Storytellers' show
Celebrating 25 years of theatrical entertainment, the Carson City Follies will present "Storytellers," a whimsical show featuring classic fables, rhymes, stories, and one-of-a-kind performances. “You’re going to crack up with our unique versions of Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights,” stated Toni VanCleave, director, and master of ceremonies.
Showtimes are 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 performed at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive. Tickets are $10 available at the door or online at carsoncityseniorcenter.org.
The Carson Follies is a fundraiser for Carson City’s Meals on Wheels program. Carson City Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious meals daily to homebound seniors who might otherwise struggle to get enough to eat. The program will deliver an estimated 108,000 meals this year.
