Asymptomatic COVID-19 testing kicks off in Carson City Tuesday
Carson City Health and Human Services with the support of the Nevada National Guard kicked off asymptomatic testing today.
According to Jessica Rapp of Carson City Health and Human Services, testing went very well on the first day.
“Everything was up and running this morning and by noon we had tested almost 100 individuals at one of the locations,” said Rapp. “Approximately 400 individuals are scheduled for testing today.”
The next Carson City testing day will be held on May 9.
Originally, some community members were scheduled to have their tests done at the DMV; however, the DMV is no longer an option and they have been rescheduled to Carson High School.
All appointments for Carson City testing have been scheduled. It is unknown at this time if further asymptomatic testing dates and times will be scheduled.
