Nevada Humane Society, Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Trico
Nevada Humane Society, Carson City branch's pet of the week is Trico, a friendly 1-year-old shepherd mix who came to us as a stray in February.
According to our observations, Trico gets along well with children and other dogs, but he might require some time to adjust before he becomes their best friend. Initially, Trico may seem a bit reserved, but once he warms up, his presence will certainly brighten up your life!
Here is what Trico has to say: “At first, I was so nervous like any shepherd mix might be in a new place. But as I spent more time with the volunteers and got to know my new surroundings, something changed inside me. I started feeling more comfortable, more at ease. Now, I love being around people, soaking up all the attention and affection they give me. Still, meeting new faces can be a bit daunting for me, and I might seem reserved at first. But if you give me a chance and a little time, I promise I'll warm up to you. Once I do, I'll be the happiest, friendliest pup you could ask for, ready to bring love and joy to our home together."
Trico’s adoption fee is $125. You can meet him at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
