Join Prestige Senior Living for a free webinar Thursday on healthy brain practices
To kick off the new year, Prestige Senior Living is committed to helping older adults achieve their health and fitness resolutions. Prestige Senior Living invites the local community to attend a free webinar hosted by neuroscientist and aging expert Dr. Rob Winningham, on healthy brain practices and wellness in mind, body and spirit.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. PST.
Attendees will learn insights into how maintaining a fitness routine can not only provide physical benefits, but can improve cognitive health as well. Dr. Winningham will share how staying active helps keep the brain healthy, and
can help reduce the chance of cognitive decline for older adults.
Dr. Winningham is the provost and vice president for academic affairs at Western Oregon University, where he created the Gerontology Department when he was division chair of the Behavioral Sciences Division. Dr. Winningham is also a published author of two books focusing on cognitive enhancement and memory and aging.
