A.V.A. Ballet Theatre Presents 'Coppélia' Sept. 16-17 at Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts
A delightful staging of the ballet “Coppélia” will be performed at The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in Reno on Sept. 16-17, 2023.
A story of young love, mischief, and mistaken identities, everyone will be swept up by the story of a hilarious mix-up between an enchanting life-like doll named Coppélia and village beauty, Swanhilda. With live music by Delibes played by the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Jason Altieri and charming choreography by Alexander van Alstyne, this ballet will entertain audience members of every age and stage.
