Salvation Army Carson City seeks children's program employees
The Salvation Army in Carson City is seeking to hire people for several part-time positions for its Morning Latchkey and After-School kids’ programs. The programs provide cost-effective before- and after-school care for guardians who need to be able to work during those hours.
“Our Morning Latchkey and After-School programs are fun for the kids and provide an excellent opportunity for them to learn, work on homework, make crafts and play games,” said The Salvation Army’s Captain Holly Beeson. “The Salvation Army has operated these programs here in Carson City for many years. They benefit the children and their parents. We’re in search of dedicated staff members to ensure the programs can continue.”
There are currently five positions open. Morning Latchkey aide positions are open at Bordewich Bray, Mark Twain and Empire elementary schools from 6:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., Monday through Friday. One after-school aide position with hours from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, is open at The Salvation Army Carson City Corps. A CDL driver position—Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 4 p.m.— is also open.
All positions pay $15. To apply, please visit this link: https://rb.gy/x40iw. Those with questions concerning the positions and how to apply for them are encouraged to call the Corps offices at (775) 887-9120.
