CHS hosts is annual Senior-Senior Prom
Carson High School hosted its annual Senior-Senior Prom this last Friday. Senior-Senior Prom is a perfect blend of generations with senior citizens within the community and seniors within Carson High School.
The event takes place once every year around this time. “It has become a tradition at Carson High School to host the event,” says leadership advisor Ann Britt. “It is just a really fun and creative way to get involvement from the community in all aspects of the demographics.”
The committee chair who planned out the majority of the event was Margaret Duval. Margaret is a junior at Carson High and is involved heavily with the leadership program and was happy to volunteer to chair the committee.
There were 31 seniors in attendance this year it was a slower year in comparison to most. The event had line dancing and a delicious desert bar. There will be another Senior-Senior Prom next year with similar activities, so it is never too early to start thinking about who you are going to take!
