Build2Win workshop on Carson City Master Plan happening this Saturday
Build2Win is sponsoring a workshop to understand the current Carson City Master Plan (adopted in 2006) and the revision process currently underway.
If you did not have time to dive into the Master Plan document, I don't blame you. The good new is that two talented residents have stepped forward to read, interpret what is written today and the focus for future revisions. More importantly, we need to hear from you about changes that you would like.
This Master Plan is an advisory document that outlines Carson City’s vision and goals for the future. The written goals and guiding principles, policies, and recommended actions, in combination with the Land Use Map, provide guidance for decisions affecting growth, the use and development of land, preservation of open space and the expansion of public facilities and services.
Multi-use, high density, workforce housing, rural accessible community were some of the topics where the City needs input. Learn about the Master Plan to make an informed feedback.
