Winter Wildlife Workshop planned for Jan. 19 at Carson River Park
Have you ever wondered how bears, coyotes or birds are able to survive the harsh winter months? Join Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space and the Nevada Department of Wildlife at Carson River Park on Jan. 19 to learn about the different ways wild animals make it through northern Nevada's winters.
At 1 p.m., nature lovers can visit educational winter wildlife stations, followed by an interpretive hike at 2:00 p.m.
