International Chili Society hosts Carson City Chili Cookoffs July 3-4
There will be back-to-back chili cookoffs in Carson City during Independence Day festivities at Glen Eagles Restaurant, July 3-4.
The High Sierra And Nevada Capital Chili Cookoffs, sponsored by the International Chili Society, were moved up a few weeks to take advantage of the Independence Day festivities, organizers said. This will hopefully give chili cookers a little cooler weather and an extra day for travel. The cookoffs return to Glen Eagles Restaurant and will be on the grass under the trees. Festivities on July 3-4 include a craft fair and locals; cookoffs of salsa, verde and red chili.
Dry camping available at the cookoff site. Cooks, please enter on the ICS website here.
